Italian newspaper Tuttosport today highlights Aston Villa’s and Newcastle United’s interest in Juventus winger Federico Chiesa.
It all starts with the outlet claiming that the player turned down offers from Saudi Arabia, despite all the money he was being offered.
Chiesa continues to attract the ‘Premier League sirens’, though, and that’s where Aston Villa and Newcastle are brought in.
It’s claimed that Villans and Magpies are ‘ready to put €50m plus bonuses on the table’ to sign the winger.
Juventus, however, are not that focusing on selling the player.
They know that when he has full physical conditions, he can help them raise their bar, and that’s why they plan to keep him in their squad and give him a new contract.
Now it’s still not clear whether this €50m offer from Aston Villa or Newcastle would be enough to make the Bianconeri change their plans.
As for the player, he might not be interested in making a move to Saudi Arabia, but a transfer to a Premier League club could end up offering something different to him, especially with the Magpies offering Champions League football.
