According to TRT Spor, Aston Villa have signed Kasimpasa winger Trezeguet for a reported €11m.

The Turkish TV channel have confirmed the Premier League side have got an agreement for the player and the 24 year old’s spell with the Super Lig side has come to an end.

We covered initial claims from Turkey that Aston Villa are keen to sign Trezeguet this summer as they look to strengthen their squad for next season.

Kasimpasa vice president Hasan Hilmi Oksuz previously stated they’ve received an official offer of €7.5m from Aston Villa which was rejected but it seems the Premier League side have now managed to snap him up by offering €11m.

It was claimed the Egypt international is keen on a move to the Premier League and he’s also been linked with a move to Watford. There was also interest from England last summer.

Trezeguet played 34 games in the Turkish Super Lig for Kasimpasa last season and scored nine goals.
