On Wednesday, we saw reports dismissing any chances of Jakub Kiwior’s departure from Arsenal in January.
Fichajes claimed that the player is ready to ‘turn the tables’ at the Emirates and convince Mikel Arteta he deserves more playing time with the Gunners.
However, in Italy, it turns out that Viola News features a story on Fiorentina’s interest in the Arsenal player where they bring a quite different slant.
The outlet writes that Kiwior is not having the playing time he hoped for, and therefore would consider a ‘change of scenery’, and he’s the kind of player La Viola are interested in.
The problem is that Arsenal aren’t expected to be easy to negotiate with. The Gunners spent €25m to take him out of Spezia back in January, and are not willing to give up on him.
What could help is the player’s desire to play more, with Italy being called a ‘welcome destination’ for him, seeing as he knows the league very well.
That’s a situation that has also drawn the interest of AS Roma and AC Milan, as reported elsewhere, meaning there is a possible scenario where the London side may have to deal with some offers for Kiwior during the January transfer window.
