Marcelo Brozović is on the agenda of several clubs for next summer, when he could be available on a free transfer.
The midfielder’s contract at Inter Milan expires in 2022 and his situation has drawn attention from Manchester United and others.
A month ago, Gazzetta dello Sport said the Red Devils are ‘seriously thinking’ about the 28-year-old.
His father, Ivan, who is also his agent, has, along with the family’s trusted lawyer already held talks with the Serie A winners over a new deal.
According to Inter Live, the Nerazzurri have three main obstacles to tie down the Croatia international to a new contract. His camp are demanding a net annual salary of €6m, while Inter’s aim is to close it for around €5m.
This is the first obstacle, and the second one is the clubs that have come forward to sign him or to which he has been ‘proposed’ by his agent. This includes Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United and others.
These sides can not only meet the demands made by Brozović, but also offer agent commission, which seems to be the third obstacle for Inter.
The midfielder will soon be in a position to deal with possible offers and also the one that’s proposed by Inter.
If there’s no agreement between Brozović and the Italian champions, the former’s farewell from the San Siro as a free agent ‘will be inevitable’.
