With Paulo Dybala not finding an agreement to sign a contract extension with Juventus, it’s natural that he starts being linked to several clubs, especially those from the Premier League.
Tottenham Hotspur continue to be named as one of the potential destinations for the 28-year-old, and it’s now Gazzetta dello Sport who writes about this possibility.
The outlet lists Spurs along with Inter Milan and Atletico Madrid as the main suitors for Dybala, as despite his wish of staying in Italy, those two clubs from abroad could still work to convince him.
The links with Tottenham are, of course, made because of Fabio Paratici. However, the chance of a move to London is taken carefully, as ‘it takes time to frame the technical aims of a club in full swing to qualify for the next Champions League’.
So Tottenham’s campaign will certainly have impact on their chances of landing Dybala this summer, as the chance of featuring in European competition will undoubtedly impact the will from both sides on getting a deal done.
Gazzetta also points out that Spurs are now more focused on investing in young talents, which is perhaps why they wouldn’t be so decided to go for the Argentine star. So that would also have to be considered before Tottenham moved for the signing.
