CL giants ‘have interest’ in Leeds star – Already acquired ‘information’, ‘nothing agreed’ just yet

On December 17th, we relayed claims made by Jeunes Footeux that Bayern Munich are ‘attentive’ of Leeds United star Raphinha’s situation.

It was also stated the winger could leave Elland Road if there is a ‘very interesting’ project and the Whites would demand €40m for his sale. The Champions League giants have their eyes set on the Brazil international and this was also reported in his country last weekend.

Fast forward to this week, and Sportitalia journalist Gianluigi Longari reported two days ago that Chelsea have a ‘strong interest’ in the former Rennes man.

When told by a Twitter user about the Bundesliga winners keen to sign Marcelo Bielsa’s man, Longari provided the latest regarding the Bavarian club chances of landing the 25-year-old.

According to the journalist, Bayer ‘have interest’ in the player and have already acquired ‘information’ about him. However, there is ‘nothing agreed’ with the German side so far.

Thomas Tuchel’s side are also in the mix for the South American, but their idea is to sign him after this season.

Raphinha’s current deal expires in 2024 and Leeds, meanwhile, are ‘negotiating’ to extend his contract.
