According to Fotomac, Galatasaray are interested in loaning Manchester United midfielder Fred.

The Brazilian didn’t enjoy the best of times in his debut season with the English side and Fotomac claim Galatasaray are looking to give him a fresh start by loaning the Manchester United player.

The Turkish giants are in the market for a midfielder after losing both Fernando and Badou Ndiaye this summer, and Fotomac report they’ve offered a €2m loan fee to the Premier League side.

Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim is said to be a big fan of the Brazilian and he’s told the club’s vice president Abdurrahim Albayrak Fred would be a ‘statement’ signing.

It’s reported Galatasaray will stretch their transfer budget to sign the 26 year old, who played 17 league games for the Red Devils last season. Gala will be looking to retain their Super Lig title next season and they will also be involved in the Champions League group stages.

Fred is under contract at Old Trafford until June 2023.
