According to Fanatik, Galatasaray are facing competition from Serie A giants AC Milan for the signature of Fulham midfielder Jean Michael Seri.

In recent weeks we’ve covered claims from Turkey that Galatasaray are interested in signing the 27 year old, who’s expected to leave Fulham after the London side’s relegation from the Premier League last season.

Fanatik claim Galatasaray are in talks with both the player and Fulham with regards to a potential move, but Milan are also interested in signing the Ivory Coast international. It’s claimed they’ve made enquiries with Fulham for the former Nice player.

Fulham are looking to sell Seri permanently and want to recoup most of the money they spent on him 12 months ago. However, the Championship side have yet to receive any serious bids for the player and may now be forced to consider loan offers.

Galatasaray are in the market for a central midfielder after Fernando joined Sevilla and Badou Ndiaye returned to Stoke City. Seri is under contract at Craven Cottage until June 2022.
