All this comes off the back of two defeats since the restart of the Premier League, and Mikel Arteta is doing his best to redress the situation.
However, one problem still needs solving, and that’s the future of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Gabon international is out of contract next summer, meaning this is the last chance the Gunners could cash in on him and recoup some of their original expenditure.
According to Le10 Sport, Juventus have also come forward with their interest ‘over the past few weeks’, and the French website state they did so to ‘take some information on the conditions for a deal’.
So far, nothing more concrete has taken place, and a lot will likely depend on whether or not Arsenal can offer Aubameyang a contract he wants to sign.
If they don’t, it seems he will have suitors aplenty, including ones who will play in the Champions League next year.
