Reports from the English media this week have claimed that Claudio Bravo could be leaving Manchester City at the end of the season. And like everything else that involves the goalkeeper, the Chilean media has been making a huge deal out of it.

Most of the local outlets have been only covering the claims, but website En Cancha is the one who lists a few possible destinations for the 36-year-old.

They say the four places he could go are Mexico, Spain, China or stay in England. In this last case, the option would be a move to Leeds United.

They say Bravo is used to living in England, and it’s a country which he likes and where he feels comfortable. And one of the options which is ‘growing stronger’ is that of joining the Elland Road side.

It’s said that Marcelo Bielsa is an admirer of Bravo’s ability with his feet, and that means the Chilean goalkeeper could replace Kiko Casilla at the Championship side.

Regarding the other destinations, it sounds more like En Cancha is simply speculating. Speaking of a move to Mexico, they list a few sides who have young goalkeepers and could use Bravo to give them more experience. Otherwise, he’d have to wait for the famous goalkeepers to leave their clubs.

China is seen as a place from where a team could give Bravo a tempting offer. But the report doesn’t know much about possible destinations, since they only point out that one of his former coaches is in charge of second division side Qingdao Huanghai.

Something similar goes to Spain. It’s said he could return to Real Sociedad, where he’d be welcomed, or even join Real Betis, who will be looking for a goalkeeper in the summer. But there’s nothing about talks with these clubs for now.

It says a lot for Leeds United’s progress that the option is simply dismissed by Bravo’s home media.
