Chelsea welcome AC Milan this week in the Champions League, and the match is course getting big coverage in Italy.
The Blues have just one point from their matches in the competition so far this season, a draw against RB Salzburg and a loss to Dinamo Zagreb. AC Milan have four points, having beaten Dinamo and drawn with Salzburg.
Should Milan get a victory then it’s great for the Rossoneri’s qualifying hopes, but they’re expected to head to London with a squad depleted due to injuries.
Both clubs have US owners, and Calciomercato say they ‘respect and value’ each other. There’s the suggestion that talks could be held relating to transfers, with the Champions League match used as an opportunity to do so.
Rafael Leao is the Milan player of interest to Chelsea and there’s been repeat claims that the Blues are still keen. Calciomercato say they made a €90m offer in the summer and could return, depending what happens with Christopher Nkunku.
Regarding talks for players going the other way, the report says Christian Pulisic and Trevoh Chalobah look set to leave the Blues and are the players who could be of interest to Stefano Pioli.
