Nnamdi Collins is one of the many talented youngsters at Borussia Dortmund’s academy and has impressed for the German club’s youth team.

His performances caught the attention of Chelsea and Manchester City.

On April 22nd, we relayed news from Germany the London club had overtaken the Premier League winners for the 17-year-old.

It was also explained Chelsea were ready to offer a ‘million-dollar package’.

Bild now claims the English capital club have been following the teenager for the past three years and they have been stepping up their efforts to sign him over the last few weeks.

Chelsea wanted to lure the centre-back by offering him and his family ‘millions’.

Unfortunately for the English club, their efforts to tempt Collins have been unsuccessful as Bild states he has rejected a ‘million-dollar offer’ from Chelsea and decided to commit his future to the Bundesliga side.

According to the report, Dortmund provided him with a clear path for his development. Collins will spend the next season with the youth team and will have opportunities with the first team from the summer of 2021.
