Chelsea are leading the race for Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham, according to claims from the Spanish media.

On Cadena Ser show Carrusel Mundial, journalist Pacojó Delgado came up today with an update on the clubs who are working to sign the 19-year-old.

It’s said Chelsea, Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all fighting for the transfer, and with the player telling Borussia Dortmund he’d take a decision on his future after the World Cup, all those clubs took that as a sign that he’s leaving.

According to Pacojó, the first talks for his move away from the Bundesliga were for a €80m transfer. Now Real Madrid believe the German club actually won’t let him go for less than €120m.

That’s when the biggest claims come in, as it’s believed that Chelsea could reach €150m to land him.

Real Madrid don’t plan to pay that much for such a young player, regardless of how good he is. They just hope that the ‘excellent’ relationship they have with Borussia Dortmund could help them win the battle against Chelsea and other English sides.
