Fanatik report Trabzonspor are looking to sign a centre-back this week, with Chelsea’s Matt Miazga an option.
The Turkish side have had ongoing troubles at the heart of their defence since last season, and Fanatik claim they are looking to bring somebody in before the window closes.
Former Celtic player Eric Sviatchenko, who now plays for Midtjylland, is their primary target, but it’s reported the Danish club don’t want to sell one of their key players on the cheap.
According to Fanatik, Chelsea are willing to loan out the 25-year-old and the Super Lig club’s board are investigating the terms of a possible deal. Miazga spent 18 months on loan at Championship side Reading, making 42 appearances and scoring two goals.
His contract with Chelsea will expire at the end of June 2022, however, it seems he doesn’t have a future under Frank Lampard.
