Real Betis have submitted an offer to Chelsea to extend the loan spell of Belgian youngster Charly Musonda, but it seems talks have been dragging on for too long.
The 19-year-old is keen on spending the next season at Real Betis, after a successful six-month loan spell, and the Spanish side are interested, but Chelsea are taking their time.
According to Spanish website ABC.es, Real Betis have intensified their efforts to sign Musonda on loan, after new boss Gus Poyet gave the green light.
Real Betis want to pay Chelsea in variables depending on the number of games Musonda will play, whilst the Blues want a fixed amount to sanction his loan spell.
Real Betis are hoping to complete a deal soon, and are ready to look at alternatives if Chelsea make any further delay.
ABC.es confirm the player has offers from other clubs, but you’d think another season on loan at Real Betis appears to be the best option for the player.
Musonda feels settled at Real Betis, and that’d allow him to build on his good performances.
