Chelsea have held ‘very concrete’ talks with Thomas Tuchel about replacing Frank Lampard at Stamford Bridge.

That’s according to Le 10 Sport, who back up claims from Germany that the Blues are eyeing up the German coach.

Tuchel has been named as a potential target, with him available to take over immediately after leaving Paris Saint Germain last month.

All the links to Tuchel have come out of Germany, but Le 10 back them up today and say that, according to their sources, Chelsea have held very concrete talks with the German coach.

However, the Blues may need to move quickly if they are to get their man as they are not the only option in front of him.

Le 10’s sources say the former PSG coach has another club interested in him while it is not impossible for Barcelona to be interested as he is ‘greatly appreciated’ by those in charge at the Camp Nou.

That would be major competition for Chelsea if they are genuinely interested, meaning they may have to make a quick decision on Lampard if Tuchel is the one they want to replace him.
