AC Milan’s love for Cesc Fabregas is something that won’t go away so soon.
The Serie A side have been heavily linked to the midfielder since the summer, and they keep preparing to make a final approach for him.
Milan are working to rebuild themselves to achieve the same level they once were in, and the plan is to spend a considerable amount of money in the next transfer window following the completion of their takeover in March.
As reported by Corriere Dello Sport today, the first signing should be the most impressive one, to please both the fans from Italy and from China.
And the target for this first transfer is, of course, Cesc Fabregas. Although the newspaper doesn’t mention how much Milan would like to pay for him, it’s clear their budget can afford it, with the newspaper stating a nine figure sum could be at their disposal.
With only five Premier League starts this season, this should be the time for Fabregas to choose between playing or being a rotation player as he’s been for a while. Chelsea don’t seem to be too keen on keeping him either, so this is a transfer where the player’s say will probably be decisive.
