Chelsea are in the picture to sign Inter Milan’s Marcelo Brozovic in the summer.

The Croatia international has seen his game time restricted this season due to form and fitness. He has made 15 appearances, which includes nine league starts.

His situation at the Serie A side has not put off the likes of Chelsea and a few other clubs.

Sport have a report that focuses on Barcelona and Atletico Madrid interest in the 30-year-old. Los Rojiblancos are very attentive to his situation at the San Siro after Diego Simeone identified him as a target to bolster his side’s midfield next season.

The Catalan club are also very interested in the player but Atletico intend to beat them for his signing in the next window. It won’t be easy for the Madrid club because of Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and Barca.

It’s explained Atletico ‘will have to bid with teams’ like Chelsea, PSG and Barca to secure the Croatian’s services.

These clubs would be delighted to know Brozovic has ‘made a decision’ to leave Inter in the summer. The midfielder is aware he has a good rating in Europe and is exploring the new destinations he could move to next season.

Whether that will be Chelsea or another club remains to be seen.
