Konstantinos Manolas isn’t going anywhere, according to reports from Italy.

The player, who has been mostly linked to Chelsea lately, but also several other Premier League clubs, is currently at AS Roma, and the club want him to remain there for the next season.

Monday’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport says the 24-year-old keeps expressing his unhappiness at the club, but it won’t make Roma change their mind.

Chelsea are said to be keeping an eye on him, but the Italian side will try to change the player’s mood by giving him a new contract.

Manolas was also linked to Manchester United and Arsenal, with his agent hinting that the player was far from reaching an agreement for his new contract at Roma.

The defender’s current deal runs until 2019, and if they sold him during the current window, Roma would have to send a large chunk of the fee to his previous club, thanks to a contract clause.
