Just like they do almost everyday, Tuttosport have on Thursday a complete list of players who Juventus are targeting this summer. This time, they name all the players for midfield.
Apart from the likes of Axel Witsel, Lucas Biglia and Javier Mascherano, there’s a couple of Premier League players who have been on Juventus’ agenda.
One of them is N’Golo Kante, with interest from the Italian side being reported for a while. However, the recent approaches from Chelsea have been making the transfer more difficult, and despite trying in the past few weeks, Juventus haven’t made had any new talks recently.
Should have success with their swoop then Juventus will need to fully move on.
Instead of Kante, Juve would now be now more interested in Moussa Sissoko. They say that Newcastle would let him go, but not for less than €25m, which is similar to Witsel’s price to leave Zenit.
As Witsel is a bigger priority than Sissoko, it’s very unlikely that Juve would try to sign the Newcastle player before they run out of chances with the Belgian. But then again Witsel is part of so many failed Italian transfer stories that amove is always unlikely.
