Portuguese newspaper A Bola today has a big piece about Athletico midfielder Bruno Guimarães, who should soon be disputed by several European sides.

The outlet tells the player’s entire history, and interviewed a couple of former players who can describe how good the 22-year-old is.

A Bola also lists the sides who could be fighting for his signing in January, and one more time, Chelsea are mentioned among the interested clubs.

Due to an agreement with Athletico in the transfer of Renan Lodi this year, Atletico Madrid would have a priority over Bruno Guimarães, but the report says the Colchoneros are worried about Financial Fair Play and ‘have already said’ that they only want to spend on a striker.

Meanwhile, Benfica should soon make a bid of €20m for the midfielder. And the Eagles would have competition from Chelsea, Flamengo and Paris Saint Germain.

Bruno Guimarães is undoubtedly one of the best players in Brazil these days, and moving for him in January would certainly be a good thing to avoid competition in the summer.
