Despite being a doubt and managing 60 odd minutes against Stoke at the weekend, Victor Moses still flew out to meet up with his national teammates ahead of Nigeria’s two friendlies during the upcoming international break.

Advised against playing in the upcoming games, it appeared Victor Moses was still determined to at least have some part against Senegal and Burkina Faso, but that won’t be the case.

AOIfootball on Tuesday report the Chelsea wing-back has been excused from the national team camp by manager Gernot Rohr, and is now expected to watch both games from the stands.

With Antonio Conte’s side pretty much guaranteed to lift the Premier League trophy at the end of the season, a lot of the focus will turn to the FA Cup, allowing Chelsea to potentially pull off an impressive double in the Italian’s first season in charge.
