Pedro Rodriguez may not have had a great debut season for Chelsea, but things have turned around with the new management. With two goals and five assists in ten Premier League games under Antonio Conte, the player is now being called “the Wolf” by the Spanish press.

Marca are claiming that the change in Chelsea’s formation has allowed Pedro to play in his best position, which is the right wing alongside two other attackers.

It means he’s now more effective than ever, producing a goal every 58 minutes, including the one he scored against Manchester United, which was Chelsea’s quickest goal since 2004.

But Pedro has been succeeding defensively as well. Marca takes some stats to say he’s the Premier League forward with most tackles made (10), besides being the attacker with most ball recoveries.

This is considered to be Pedro’s best form since he left Barcelona, and given Chelsea’s recent results, there couldn’t be a better time for the player to take a chance to be an important star, as he always wanted to.
