Currently the loan player manager at Chelsea, Tore André Flo will be leaving his post in the very near future.
This was confirmed by Sogndal, who have announced on their website that the former player will take over as manager from the start of 2022 for the next three years.
Flo, who is also the assistant manager for Norway’s U21 team, had already told VG that the job was ‘interesting for him’.
He will be taking over from Eirik Bakke, who had managed the club for the last seven seasons, but decided this would be his last, announcing ‘earlier this year’ that he would be retiring.
This marks the end of a four year stint for Flo at Chelsea in his current role, who has been both a club representative and taken care of the many players on loan away from Stamford Bridge during that time.
A new chapter for the former Blues striker, who spent two years at the club as a player between 1998 and 2000 before moving to Rangers in a £16.2m move.
