Chelsea could look for a new goalkeeper in the summer and Inter Milan star André Onana has been identified as the main target for them.

The Cameroon international’s immediate focus will be on the Champions League final against Manchester City on June 10th. He’s kept eight clean sheets and conceded 10 goals from 12 games in the European competition.

According to InterLive.it, the 27-year-old’s fine form in the Champions League has caught Chelsea’s attention.

The west London club’s desire to sign the goalkeeper was reported in Italy before Mauricio Pochettino was appointed as the new manager at the Bridge. The Blues continue to have an interest in him, even after the Argentine’s arrival.

It’s claimed ‘Chelsea are serious’ about the former Ajax man and could come forward with an offer which would be hard for the Nerazzurri to reject.

Inter chiefs Giuseppe Marotta and Piero Ausilio don’t want to sell their star. If Pochettino’s side ‘insist’ and table a bid of €40-45m, a ‘sale could materialise’ in the next window.

Faced with the possibility of losing Onana to Chelsea, the Serie A side have identified Empoli goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario as the target to replace the Cameroonian.
