Website Turkish Football came up with some pretty interesting news about the Barcelona winger Arda Turan last night.
According to their sources, the 30-year-old has not only bought a house in London, but also chose one very close to the Stamford Bridge.
As you can probably imagine, that’s enough for them to recall all the times when Turan was linked to a move to Chelsea.
The player isn’t having the best of times in Barcelona, and his departure from the club is frequently speculated by the local papers.
Having spent a day in London last week, the player met his old Atletico Madrid teammate and now Chelsea star Diego Costa.
If Turkish Football’s sources are right, there’s still not much to be convinced from this. A player doesn’t really have to buy a house months before moving, and doesn’t have to do it close to the stadium either.
Chelsea’s training ground is almost 20 miles from the Stamford Bridge, so Turan would also have a bigger reason to buy a property in south London than in a place where he’ll go once a week.
