The Achraf Hakimi transfer looks to now be leaning in the direction of PSG.

Chelsea have been involved in a straight battle with the Ligue 1 club over the past week, with Inter Milan ready to sell the fullback.

In financial difficulty after winning the Serie A title, the Italian club have identified Hakimi as their big transfer sacrifice and are ready to complete a quick deal.

Earlier today we covered claims from France which stated PSG are confident about getting a deal done for the player, and it was even explained they want to seal a transfer before the week is over.

Gazzetta dello Sport now give their take, and whilst it’s explained the French club are in the lead, the report says Chelsea ‘remain at the window’.

The Premier League club haven’t given up in their quest for the transfer, and are ‘convinced’ that their offer is a good one.

According to the Italian newspaper, that offer is worth €50m plus Marcos Alonso, or a lower figure plus both the Spaniard and Davide Zappacosta.

Given Inter’s thirst for cold hard money, ‘all roads lead to Paris’, unless Chelsea can snatch the player away from their rivals at the last minute.
