Fanatik claim Chelsea have rejected Besiktas’ approach for Michy Batshuayi as they want to keep the Belgian striker in their squad for this season.
Earlier in this transfer window we covered claims from Turkey that the 25 year old has emerged as a target for Black Eagles as they look to strengthen their squad before the European transfer window closes next week.
However, Fanatik say Chelsea have rejected the Turkish club’s offer for the attacker and Besiktas have moved onto other targets. The Super Lig side are keen to bring in a No.9 before the transfer deadline, due to a lack of options.
Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has previously stated the player could be a part of his plans this season despite not making an appearance for the Premier League side so far this campaign.
Batshuayi scored two goals for Chelsea’s U23 side last week as he looks to increase his fitness levels.
The former Marseille striker still has two years left on his current contract at Stamford Bridge.
