Italian outlet Calcio Mercato today has a big article about the Atalanta left-back Robin Gosens.

The 25-year-old has just been elected the best German footballer playing abroad, and that’s great news for the Serie A side, who could make some big money with his sale next summer.

Calcio Mercato says there’s a list of sides who’d like to sign Gosens this year, including the likes of Chelsea, Inter Milan and Lyon.

Regarding the Blues’ interest, it’s said the club should first let either Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri go, and only then would they try to get the German player.

Lyon have already offered €25m for Gosens in January, and since that bid was rejected, these clubs now know that more will be needed to take him from Atalanta.

The Serie A side, who only paid €900k for his signing in 2017, are said to be ‘sending a strong and clear message’ for all those interested, including Chelsea, showing they won’t let him go so easily.
