As widely reported by the Italian media today, Chelsea and AC Milan are about to complete a deal for Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who’s set to join the Serie A giants in a €15m move.
Now TuttoMercatoWeb comes up to say that may not be the only transfer between the clubs being sorted out this week.
The website writes that Milan are currently ‘pressing’ Chelsea to sign Christian Pulisic as well.
It’s claimed there are ‘close contacts’ from the Italian club with the Blues and with the player’s entourage.
These don’t sound like initial talks for the move, with TuttoMercatoWeb claiming Milan ‘try to close’ the transfer.
It’s pointed out that Pulisic is leaving Chelsea anyway, as the Premier League side are currently working to offload a large number of players from the squad.
For now, there’s no information on how much Milan are looking to spend on Pulisic, or even if they’re signing him on a straight permanent move.
It sounds like they were negotiating for Loftus-Cheek and were told about the opportunity to sign the winger as well.
