Milan could soon engage in talks for the transfer of Chelsea midfielder Hakim Ziyech, according to reports from Italy today.
It’s TuttoMercatoWeb who features a story claiming that Belgian lawyer Sebastian Ledure was today at the Rossoneri’s headquarters for a meeting with the club’s management.
The representative had already worked on Romelu Lukaku’s transfer this summer, in partnership with the Roc Nations agency.
Now, he’s helping Ziyech since the midfielder’s separation with his former agent.
For TMW, that shows a chance that the Chelsea player could be negotiated with the Italian giants, with the outlet claiming the 29-year-old could be ‘back in fashion’ at the San Siro for January.
Ziyech has been struggling to get any playing time at Chelsea this season.
He has only made five appearances for the club so far, and not even the change of managers increased his chances of playing more for the Blues.
A departure from Stamford Bridge had already been an option back in the summer window, and with only 172 minutes played so far for Chelsea since the start of the campaign, that’s a clear sign that a transfer is a real possibility.
