Reports from the Italian media continue saying that AC Milan are pretty close on signing Fikayo Tomori from Chelsea.
Still last night, there were already claims of an agreement between the clubs, claiming the player was waited in the Italian capital to have his medicals and sign a contract.
That hasn’t happened so far, but Calcio Mercato comes with a new story confirming that it’s all nearly lined up between the Blues and the Rossoneri, with the Italians ‘ready to welcome him’.
They claim it’s ‘close to white smoke’ for Tomori to be loaned to Milan on a temporary deal which will include a buying option of around €30m.
Calcio Mercato sounds confident of a deal, but still doesn’t sound as sure as other outlets last night, who were already counting on Tomori’s trip to Italy.
The report points out that the Canadian defender didn’t even make it to Chelsea’s matchday squad against Leicester City on Tuesday, as if that was a sign that’s on the move.
However, that’s actually been pretty normal for Tomori this season, as he’s clearly not in Frank Lampard’s plans for the team.
