Chelsea forward Hakim Ziyech has sent ‘new signals’ to AC Milan that he wants to join them in the January transfer window.
That’s according to Calciomercato, who say the player ‘wants to wear the Milan jersey’ and this desire has been expressed to the club’s hierarchy via his agents.
They explain that after securing qualification for the knockout phases of the Champions League, Milan’s eyes are on the future and growing further.
The Italian side are ‘ambitious’ and they’ve been handed a boost on this front, with Chelsea’s Ziyech sending them clear signals.
They say the Moroccan has sent ‘new signals’ in the last few days, with his entourage contacting Paulo Maldini and Federico Massara, in which they ‘expressed’ the player’s desire to move to Milan.
They’ve also proposed a loan deal with a right of redemption included and the Rossoneri are ‘intrigued’ by the idea. They have not yet made a final decision on the Chelsea man, though.
Their idea for the January window would be to secure a couple of ‘high-level shots’, but only if they fit into Stefano Pioli’s football idea and needs.
It’s unclear if Ziyech falls into those parameters but he’s made it clear to the Serie A side that he wants the move, nonetheless.
