Although most of the rumours coming from Italy normally encourage Milan buying players from Chelsea, there can be different slants.

Website Calcio Mercato brings an exclusive article saying Alvaro Morata knows AC Milan won’t make a big investment for him anytime soon.

After explaining the ‘disaster’ the Spaniard is living at Chelsea this season and his wish to leave the London side, Calcio Mercato claims that Morata would be keen on joining Milan ‘at any time’.

However, it’s claimed that the player is now aware the Rossoneri can’t spend big in either of the next two transfer windows.

Milan are said to be blocked from spending a lot in January because of Financial Fair Play, and in the next summer, they must pay Juventus for the transfer of Gonzalo Higuain.

So even though Morata knows he wouldn’t be so expensive with a €45m-€50m price-tag, he’s aware the club he wants can’t really afford him.
