With things not going great for Romelu Lukaku at Chelsea, the obvious rumours have been linking him with a return to Italy, where there’s still a huge affection between the striker and Inter Milan.
Now it turns out there could be a new option for the 29-year-old, as according to reports from France, Paris Saint Germain could end up interested in his signing as well.
A story from But Football points out Lukaku was offered to the Ligue 1 side and could be available ‘at a lower cost’ next summer, which means a loan with an option to buy or a cheap permanent transfer.
It’s said the idea of signing the Chelsea forward is ‘gaining ground’, with PSG looking to add more attacking options to the squad
But Football points out that Lukaku doesn’t seem to be part of Thomas Tuchel plans at Chelsea, and he wouldn’t like to stay there much longer either. And despite his wish of returning to Inter Milan, the Italian giants have ‘other priorities’ at the moment.
Since his return to the Blues last summer, the striker has 12 goals in 36 appearances.
