After a 4-0 hammering at the hands of Bournemouth, Chelsea bounced back by registering a 5-0 crushing victory over Huddersfield at Stamford Bridge.
The Terriers, who have the second worst defensive record in the Premier League, were no match to the Blues.
Maurizo Sarri’s new addition Gonzalo Higuain opened the scoring after which the Belgium international netted twice.
The Argentine got his second goal of the match in the second half and even though both the attackers scored twice, it was Hazard who was outstanding for the FA Cup winners against Huddersfield.
It’s no surprise that his superb display has seen him make it to Italian newspaper La Gazzetta dello Sport’s European Team of the Week.
They’ve given him a rating of 7.5, the same his compatriot and Wolverhampton Wanderers Leander Dendoncker received, and he’s also included in Gazzetta’s selection.
Chelsea will be hoping that Higuain can continue to impress and Hazard can extend his fine form when they face Manchester City at the Etihad on February 10th.
