Chelsea player has been house-hunting in another city as transfer claims rise

And this is where Thibaut Courtois’ transfer from Chelsea to Real Madrid stands right now, at least according to an exclusive report from AS this Tuesday.

The outlet claims that as the player waits for the move to be sorted, he has already started looking for a place to live in the Spanish capital.

AS says that Courtois had already bought a house in Madrid for his ex-wife and children in January 2017, but now he’s looking for a place for himself.

To back up their claims, AS mentions reports from Onda Cero, claiming that Courtois has been in Madrid for some hours this Tuesday as he waited for a plane to take him to Tenerife, where he’s spending a few days of his vacations.

The outlet doesn’t bring any big updates on the negotiations between Chelsea and Real Madrid, as their article’s only purpose is to make it clear Courtois is looking for a place to live.
