Chelsea player ‘first choice’ for club, transfer could be concluded for ‘affordable price’

On May 23rd, we carried a report from FcInterNews that Inter are looking to sign Victor Moses in the summer transfer window.

Luciano Spalletti is in charge at San Siro for the time being, but is widely expected to be replaced by Antonio Conte in the coming days.

It was also explained the latter wants to reunite with the Chelsea player and he would welcome the 28-year-old ‘with open arms.’

FcInterNews now claim the Nigeria international still remains the ‘first choice’ player for the former Blues boss and the ‘contacts have already been started’ to secure the services of the versatile player.

The former Wigan starlet was converted from a winger to a wing-back at Chelsea under Conte’s guidance and he was one of the regular starters when the Italian was in charge at Stamford Bridge.

With one year left on his contract at the London club, the report states the Serie A side could complete his transfer for an ‘affordable price’ of €12m plus bonuses.

The only obstacle for the Nerazzurri to sign Moses is the Europa League winners’ transfer ban and the Italian club fears that could stop his exit from Chelsea.

We’ll now have to wait and see if Inter can convince the Blues to sanction Moses’ sale in the summer transfer window even if CAS do not overturn FIFA’s decision.
