Chelsea winger Nathan is being loaned out to Brazilian side Atlético Mineiro, according to reports on Saturday.

UOL claims that the clubs have already reached an agreement so the player can spend a year at the Minas Gerais club.

The website says that since the player was not in Maurizio Sarri’s plans for the season, it wasn’t very difficult for Atlético to get the loan.

The situation between club and player was already ‘well forwarded’ as well, and Atlético now wait for him in Belo Horizonte so he can sign the contract and have his medical.

Nathan’s move to Brazil had already been reported this Friday, when Globo Esporte claimed that an official had flown to Europe to get the deal done.

With the loan confirmed, this will be one more year that Nathan won’t have a chance to play for Chelsea. He was signed from Atlético Paranaense back in 2015 and is still to make his debut for the Blues.
