Chelsea loanee Charly Musonda was a guardian angel for one day in Spain.

The midfielder, who’s playing for Real Bétis until the end of the season, gave a gesture this week that a young boy will never be able to forget.

CapturarThird grade student Santi is currently at the Hospital Universitario Virgen Macarena due to a pulmonary infection.

When asked by the nurses who his guardian angel is, the boy, who’s been a Bétis fan all his life, said it’s Charly Musonda.

The hospital employees did their best to get in contact with the player. They ended up reaching Adrián San Miguel, who’s the club’s ex-goalkeeper and also studied at Santis’ school, Centro Educativo Altair.

Miguel got in touch with Musonda and both players paid the kid a visit on Wednesday, the day when Santi turned nine.

As explained by the school’s official website, Musonda did nothing but convince the kid that guardian angels are real.
