Last month, multiple reports stated Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich ‘absolutely wants’ Erling Haaland and has made the Borussia Dortmund star a priority target for Chelsea.

The striker is advised by Mino Raiola and the super-agent has admitted only 10 clubs can afford signing the player, out of which four are from England.

Journalist Xavier Bosch, writing for the last page of today’s Mundo Deportivo, states the 20-year-old will ‘choose his future with Raiola’s permission’.

He claims the Bundesliga side are willing to sell the Norway international for €150m in the next market. In the event Raiola looks for ‘who pays more’, Chelsea and Real Madrid can be looked at as options.

Therefore, the Blues or Los Blancos ‘can take’ the player.

Despite Real Madrid’s reported difficult economic situation, Bosch claims Florentino Pérez is saving for a galactic signing in the summer.

Abramovich, for his part, has ‘promised’ Thomas Tuchel he’ll sign the BVB attacker if Chelsea make it to next season’s Champions League.

Barcelona would do well with someone like Haaland in their squad next season, but they can neither afford to pay his transfer fee nor offer hefty commission to Raiola.

Based on Bosch’s report, this puts Chelsea and Real Madrid ahead of Barca in the race for the striker’s signature.

It’s worth noting Bosch hasn’t mentioned Manchester United and Manchester City, who are also thought to have interest in Haaland.
