Porto played Benfica on Saturday evening and it was no surprise to see ‘spies’ at the match from clubs around Europe.

Liga NOS is a frequent shopping destination for big and small clubs, and given this was a great chance to see some of the league’s best players face a tough task it was a match not to miss.

Sunday’s edition of O Jogo reports Chelsea were one of the clubs in attendance, as the Blues plan for the summer transfer window.

Joining them were representatives from clubs including Liverpool, both the Manchester sides, Juventus, Inter Milan, Bayern Munich, Marseille, PSV, Sevilla and Valencia.

Porto won the match 3-2, and some players stood out for the home club.

Alex Telles had a good match, managing to score a crucial goal for Porto. The Brazilian was playing at left back, and has been repeatedly linked with Chelsea in recent years.

He’s always edging closer to a Porto exit and would be an option for Frank Lampard should he wish to renew his fullback options.
