According to the website, Chelsea have been offered the Brazilian winger by Paris Saint-Germain recently, as the Ligue 1 leaders look to make some money back in January to meet Financial Fair Play regulations following their big summer spend.

Barely used by Unai Emery, the former Sao Paulo man isn’t getting any younger, and if he wants to avoid his career stagnating, a move this winter might not be the worst idea.

Down Chelsea’s end, Le10 Sport state the Stamford Bridge door hasn’t been closed, with Antonio Conte and co. reportedly studying the possibility of bringing Lucas Moura in.

Running away with the Premier League last year, the Blues find themselves in a slightly more precarious position this time around, with Manchester City now eight points ahead of second placed Manchester United after just 11 games.

With Chelsea nine points behind, there could be a few arrivals in January to try and bridge that gap, and Michael Emenalo’s very recent departure could be the first step to improving the transfer business in the coming months.
