Chelsea were one of a number of clubs linked with Niklas Sule during the summer transfer window. The Hoffenheim central defender has managed to bring growing attention to himself and attract a line of suitors.
Sule rejected Chelsea because he preferred to stay at Hoffenheim and develop further, but the Premier League club and AC Milan remain interested.
Tough luck for them, says Sport Bild, because Sule is set to sign for Bayern Munich next summer.
Bayern Munich have agreed to pay €25m according to the magazine, and several other German reports recently, but Hoffenheim are brushing it all off, publicly at least.
It’s understandable why Chelsea have been keen on the 21 year old, but it would look like Bayern Munich have sneaked in and pushed their deal forward.
