Tuesday’s edition of Corriere Dello Sport had an article on the summer business Chelsea and Inter Milan could be involved in.
While the Stamford Bridge side are interested in the signing of Achraf Hakimi, it’s now claimed that the Nerazzurri would like to have Blues left-back Marcos Alonso as a counterpart.
Now there are a couple more stories from website Calcio Mercato which show that this deal looks quite possible indeed.
They first had a short article saying Inter Milan are analysing the transfer market and have Marcos Alonso as the ‘hottest name’. It’s insisted that ‘Chelsea are negotiating’ to sign Hakimi.
Then in a later story, Calcio Mercato features the quotes of Alejandro Camaño, Hakimi’s agent, who had a chat with Argentine show Como Te Va and confirmed that the midfielder should leave the Nerazzurri this summer.
“The only one who will leave the Nerazzurri for the moment is Hakimi, while as regards Lautaro we have to work because there is still no clear situation,” said the agent.
The website adds that Chelsea and Paris Saint Germain are currently fighting for Hakimi, highlighting that the players offered by the Blues are interesting for Inter Milan.
PSG are said to value the player at €60m, which is ‘insufficient’, since the Italian club demand over €70m. So for the Blues to win this race, they better play with the cards they have in hand and add a convincing amount of money.
