Fenerbahce are keen to bring in a No.10 in the January transfer window and Chelsea’s Cesc Fabregas is top of their list, according to Fotomaç.
Fenerbahçe president Aziz Yildirim and manager Dick Advocaat have held a meeting this week and this weekend they will further discuss signing a midfielder in the new year.
Fenerbahce scouts are currently in Brazil having watched the likes of Adryan and Oscar Romero. Adryan had a brief spell with Leeds United two seasons ago, but failed to make an impact in his time at Elland Road.
Since leaving Leeds United the 22-year-old has progressed, and has been impressive for Flamengo this season. However, despite the Leeds United flop being an option, Fabregas is still the first choice for the Turkish giants.
Fotomaç said Fabregas’ fee will be too much for Fenerbahçe to pay, and therefore the Turkish club will want to loan Fabregas until the end of the season, with a view to buying him in the summer.
Fabregas has been the subject of many transfer rumours recently, but came back into Antonio Conte’s team on Saturday, and had an impact.
