On Thursday, we covered an article stating that Chelsea and Manchester City sent scouts to watch Axel Disasi against Nantes at the weekend.
The centre-back scored a goal in the 2-2 draw, but he isn’t the only AS Monaco player the Premier League duo are after.
According to Le10 Sport, both Chelsea and Manchester City are interested in Lisandru Olmeta, a 17-year-old currently in the youth team at the principality club.
Son of former goalkeeper Pascal Olmeta, the youngster plays in the same position as his father, but will not be continuing with Monaco.
The website claim the youngster has let his club know that he will ‘not sign his first professional contract’ with them, meaning he will be leaving soon.
He will then be free to sign wherever he wants, which is where Manchester City and Chelsea come in, but it’s Lille who seem to be in the lead to get his services.
They add that both the Blues and the Cityzens are keen, alongside Stade Rennais in France, with more likely to appear in an affair that could ‘animate the coming weeks’.
