Chelsea and Manchester City are both said to be in the final battle for AIK youngster Alexander Isak.
According a report from Sportbladet today, many clubs have approached the player, but the only sides who remain in the race are Chelsea, City, PSG, Real Madrid and Juventus.
The newspaper still don’t know who are in pole position, but it will probably be the one who offers the most money for the 17-year-old, and who can convince the player he wouldn’t turn into a loan ranger.
Isak has 11 goals in 26 matches this season, which is a pretty impressive record for his age. It’s no wonder why Sportbladet describe him as one of the most hunted Swedish talents ever.
The list of clubs who have been linked to the wonderkid is pretty big. Only in England, Manchester United, Leicester City, Southampton and Liverpool had all their names thrown into the mix lately.
Previous reports hadn’t really gone big on Manchester City or Chelsea. Perhaps they’ve worked silently on this one,but it looks like there’s a transfer scrap ahead.
