In September, Sport reported about Everton, Manchester United and Barcelona interest in PSV Eindhoven’s Hirving Lozano.
After impressing in his debut season for the Dutch club, the 23-year-old has continued to shine this campaign, scoring eight goals and registering three assists in nine league appearances so far.
Italian website Calciomercato now claims the player’s form has seen him catch the attention of another club from the Premier League, as Chelsea have joined the list of sides interested in him.
The Blues manager, Maurizio Sarri, is thinking of the Mexican international as the player to strengthen his side’s wide positions, and the club are said to be ‘intrigued’.
It is also mentioned in the report that Inter Milan like Lozano, meaning any approach from Chelsea could see them face competition in signing the winger.
Calciomercato does not claim it to be their exclusive story nor do they cite the source. We will keep an eye if there are more reports from Italy or the Netherlands linking the PSV star to Chelsea.
