According to Calciomercato.it in Italy, Chelsea and Manchester City have their eyes locked on a young winger in Argentina.

The Italian website states both Maurizio Sarri’s and Pep Guardiola’s sides have started taking an interest in Agustin Urzi, who recently broke into the first-team at Banfield.

Completing his first 90 minutes on Monday night in a 1-1 draw against River Plate, the forward was picked out by his manager Hernan Crespo, praising his ‘fearless’ attitude after the game.

Given his first chance off the bench in a 1-0 loss to Argentinos back in December, Urzi’s performances have led to Manchester City and Chelsea ‘making notes’ about him, while Inter, Napoli and Roma are all interested over in Serie A.

As Calciomercato.it put it, it’s far too soon to talk about a transfer, but it’s worth keeping in mind as things can happen very quickly, especially if Urzi continues to impress.

With his manager fully behind him and an away fixture against 19th placed Colon at the weekend, there’s no reason why that shouldn’t be the case.
